I have found drawing proportionately very difficult.
Here is a quick sketch of my classroom.
I took my sketchbook out to practice sketching plants.
I used pen over pencil for the cosmos but decided to be brave and go straight in for pen with the tree.
See my attempt below:
Our task was to create a postcard image in 4 different media.
I chose to use:
To create a nolli map I was required to grasp the basics of two programs: Edina Digimap and Adobe Photoshop. I chose to map the buildings around North Place car park in Cheltenham.
I found this to be a super simple method for editing maps. See my attempt below:
Through my journey into design, I've realised the most important thing is learning the difference between looking and seeing.
Being able to understand how you see the world helps you to understand why you design in the way you do. This is why our lecture encouraged us to take a creativity test. See my results below:
This was a quick skills workshop to help improve my Photoshop ability. Once rendered I exported the image and used InDesign to add the annotation.
The more I use the programs the easier they are to navigate. After getting into the task I found it quite simple to complete, however, I must remember to keep an eye on which layer I am working on.
Our skills task this week was to render an image in Photoshop, see my attempt below.
This task made me appreciate the use of different layers. It is much easier to go back and amend mistakes when on its own layer.
