Seen on top of Cleeve Hill, Cheltenham. Fairy Rings are caused by a fungus growing underground. This fungus sprouts mycelium, creating a mushroom circle above ground that gets bigger year on year. This naturally occurring phenomenon is deeply entwined with folk and fairy tales.
